How it works

A tune is 4 rounds, one battery each. You never open the CLI or read a graph.

One round, four steps.

Chrome or Edge on a computer. Nothing to install.

  1. Plug in

USB in, battery out. We back up every setting and switch on flight logging. About 30 seconds.

  2. Fly

Cable out, charged battery in. One battery, then land.

  3. Plug in again

We read the log in your browser and show what we found.

  4. Apply

Unlock the tune once and press Apply. Every value is read back.

Rounds 1 and 2. Hover, a slow throttle sweep, snap rolls, snap flips, yaw spins, split-S and punch-outs, in any order.

Four rounds. One battery each.

Filters first, then PIDs.

  1. 1 Filters

    The test pack

Gyro and D-term filters, the dynamic notch and the RPM filter.

  2. 2 P and D

    The test pack

The balance of P and D, and the overall gain.

  3. 3 Feedforward and I-term

    Your own flying

Feedforward, I-term relax, anti-gravity, TPA and D max.

Then “How did it feel?” Too twitchy, Just right or Too soft. Your answer picks Sharper, Balanced or Smoother.

  4. 4 Fine-tuning

    Your own flying

A last pass on everything, then “Tuned.”

Rounds 1 and 2 apply Balanced. Round 3 is the only one with a choice, and later rounds keep it.

Anything still not right?

From round 3 on, say it in your own words, in any language. The AI checks your note against that flight’s log and answers under it, in the same language.

If it isn’t something a tune can fix, like jello in the video, the radio link, a desync, or a damaged prop or motor, it tells you what usually causes it.

After “Tuned.”

Spare rounds, up to 10 rounds in all within 30 days.

  1. Fly it

    The way you normally fly.

  2. Say what’s off

Plug in. At “Anything not right?”, say it in your own words, in any language. Then fly one battery your way, including where you feel it.

  3. Is it better now?

The next plug-in asks: Fixed, Better, Same or Worse.

Happy with it? Press “Finish the tune” after round 4, or “I’m happy with it” when you plug in. Your normal logging settings go back on.

Only PIDs and filters. Always undoable.

Rates, modes, receiver, OSD, VTX, ESC settings and firmware are never touched.

Measured first. Then the AI.

Code measures your flight in your browser: noise across the throttle range, and how each axis follows your sticks. Your raw log stays on your computer; only a summary of the measurements is sent.

When you unlock your tune, Claude, Anthropic’s AI model, picks the values from those measurements and your quad’s earlier rounds. A validator then holds every value to the safety limits for your prop size, before you see it.

Ready when your quad is.

Tuning runs on a computer, with your quad on USB. Here you can try the free log check.
